Every Sunday from 4:00pm to 10:00pm, Frying Pan NYC serves a three course prix fixe dinner for $48 per person on the Main Deck and the Sun Deck at Pier 66, on the Hudson River in Chelsea. It is full table service, it is entirely outdoors, there is reggae playing, and the sun goes down over the river in front of you. The $48 is plus tax and gratuity, and drinks are separate. Reservations are available and walk ins are always welcome.

What a Sunday Here Looks Like

Sunday is the slow one. The crowd thins out, the light comes round the west side of the pier, and the reggae starts. You sit at a table on the deck, someone brings you three courses, and you are in no hurry. It is about as far from a Sunday night as you can get without leaving Manhattan.

We are on a 1930s railroad barge at Pier 66, with the Lightship Frying Pan moored alongside and Hudson River Park either side of us. Everything is open air. There is no indoor room.
