General Information:

The capacity of the ship is 299 persons and it has two interior floors.

The capacity of the barge is 700 persons and is an outdoor space.

The ship does not leave the dock.

The ship is heated and open year round.

Hours of events vary, but they must finish by 4:00 am

Rental of the ship includes the following:

• Bar staff
• Clean-up
• Use of our sound system
• Coat check person (in season)
• Security

   Rental does not include DJ or entertainment

Booking Procedure:

If you would like to inquire about booking the Frying Pan or Pier 63, call (212) 989-6363 or email: info@fryingpan.com. Please be specific when making your booking if you wish to book the Frying Pan (the ship) or Pier 63 (the barge).

A $500 non-refundable deposit will be required to hold the date you wish to reserve.

Invitation Guidelines:

All printed material, such as invitations, flyers or advertisements must be approved by Frying Pan Inc. before being distributed or printed. Fax a copy of all materials to be printed to (212) 691-7653 or email to: info@fryingpan.com for approval before printing or distribution.  Please add the line "One pier north of Chelsea Piers" when describing our address. Feel free to print our web address, www.fryingpan.com on your invite, but do not include our phone number.  Failure to follow this request to pre-approve all printed material will result in cancellation of your reservation and your event.

Directions:

We are located at Pier 63, which is at the end of West 23rd Street at the Westside Highway. We are located behind Basketball City. We are the last stop on the M23 bus line and the closest subway are the C&E trains at 23rd Street and 8th Avenue. Parking at Pier 63 is available at additional charge.

If you would like to use the Frying Pan for a photo, video or film shoot, our pricing is as follows:

Although we supply a full array of sound equipment, band's should bring their own microphones, sound board equipment, instrument amps, and complete independent system that will plug into our equipment. There is 100 Amps 3 phase power available for sound and lighting at each stage.
